A zero-proof Old Fashioned built on cardamom CO2 extract, smoked wood hydrosol, and bitter orange terpenes. Complexity without compromise.

Ingredients

  • 60ml Seedlip Spice 94
  • 15ml smoked wood hydrosol
  • 10ml date syrup
  • 3 dashes non-alcoholic aromatic bitters
  • 2 dashes non-alcoholic chocolate bitters
  • 1 large clear ice sphere
  • 1 wide orange peel
  • 1 whole cardamom pod

Method

  1. Chill a heavy crystal rocks glass with one large clear ice sphere.
  2. In a mixing glass with ice, combine all liquid ingredients.
  3. Stir with a bar spoon for 45 seconds — cold dilution is essential to mouthfeel.
  4. Strain over the ice sphere in the rocks glass.
  5. Express the orange peel over the glass, releasing the citrus oils.
  6. Place the expressed peel on the rim. Set the cardamom pod alongside the ice sphere.
